EXCURSIONS
- POSITANO
Originally a small picturesque
fishing village on the Amalfi
coast, it has grown into a major
international tourist centre
because of its modern
accommodation facilities, fine
beach and good restaurant.
A pyramid of houses fall from
the Lattari mountains. To go
trough the village there is only
one little street and stairs. In
front of Positano, the Galli
island, residence of the sirens,
mythological figure half women
half
fish.
To visit, the church of Saint
Mary Assunta, with its big dome
with ceramic mosaics.
The fashion, exported in all the
world, is inspired by all the
coulors of the more than 300
kind of flowers that you can
find in Positano. |
